Presentation of the Independent Report of Serbia’s Progress in Chapters 23 and 24

PrEUgovor Coalition will present the latest independent report of Serbia’s progress in implementation of policies concerning judiciary and fundamental rights (Chapter 23) and freedom, security and justice (Chapter 24), at the conference in Media Center, on Friday, 20^th May at 11:30am.

In addition to key recommendations for progress in Chapters 23 and 24 of membership negotiations with EU, the biggest attention will be drawn to the analysis of “Savamala case” and how it reflects the rule of law, how (non)-transparent was the financing of the elections campaign, and the importance of the gender equality in Chapter 23. This event will also present investigative stories that were developed during  the project prEUgovor coalition.

In front of the prEUgovor coalition speakers at the conference will be:

The prEUgovor is a coalition of seven CSOs formed with the aim to monitor the implementation of policies within the framework of the Serbian accession process to the EU, focusing on Chapters 23 and 24. Mission of prEUgovor is to propose measures to improve the reforms, using the process of EU integration to achieve substantial progress in the further democratization of Serbia.
