Presentation of the Civil Society Monitoring Country Report for the Republic of Serbia on the implementation of UNSCR 1325

Achievements in implementation of National action plan for UNSCR 1325 will be the topic of the event which will be organized in BCSP library on Thursday, December 04 at 14:00. The event is organized by Belgrade Centre for Security Policy and organization Dia Dea.

The first Serbian National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security will expire next year. The aim of the event is to present the greatest achievements and challenges in NAP implementation from its adoption till today and encourage debate about priorities in its further implementation beyond 2015. For this purpose, the main findings of the independent monitoring conducted by BCSP and organization Dia Dea will be presented. Besides the role of civil society in the process of NAP 1325 implementation, a significant part of the event will focus on the oversight and role of National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. 

Discussants at the event will be:

  • Zlata Djeric, MP and Member of the Commission for Monitoring of the Execution of the National Action Plan for the Implementation of UNSCR 1325 in Serbia
  • Zorana Antonijevic, Gender Advisor, the OSCE Mission to Serbia

The Report will be presented by:

The working language of the event is Serbian. No translation will be provided.
