Regional Peacebuilding Academy in Montenegro

The Regional Youth Partnerships program aims to develop the next generation of changemakers from the Western Balkans by providing exceptional opportunities to connect and work together through a series of activities, including learning sessions, knowledge sharing, hands-on local activism, and cultural immersion.

One of these activities, the second Regional Peacebuilding Academy, will take place from April 21st to 26th in Bečići, Montenegro. Around 60 young leaders from Serbia, Kosovo, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will engage in a series of activities in order to drive change and move toward reconciliation in the Western Balkans and to establish a regional youth network.

The Belgrade Centre for Security Policy developed the program for the Regional Peacebuilding Academy (RPA). As with the first RPA, the programme is based on conflict analysis, which defines key factors keeping conflicts in and between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Serbia alive and preventing reconciliation between these three countries.
