The Belgrade Centre for Security Policy and partner organizations, prepared a series of seminars for activists throughout Serbia. In the period from August to December, over 15 meetings and trainings were held in which about 150 activists from local communities participated.

Private security companies (PSCs) in Serbia have been active since the early 1990s. PSCs fall under the category of non-state actors authorised to use force. It is estimated that these companies today employ between 20 and 60 thousand people in Serbia.

This January, draft Law on Detectives prepared by the MoI was sent to the National Assembly in order to be adopted under urgent procedure.
