Katarina Đokić
Researcher
Katarina became a researcher at the BCSP in March 2012. Since then her work has focused on external oversight of security sector institutions, corruption and integrity building. She is one of the authors of the Toolkit for Civil Assessment of Public Expenditure Performance in the Security Sector. Katarina’s areas of particular interest are defence sector policy and management, as well as international military cooperation.
In Spring 2013 Katarina completed an internship at the German Bundestag as part of the International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) programme.
Jelena has an undergraduate degree in journalism from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade, and master’s degrees in political science from Freiburg University (Germany) and quantitative analysis from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.
She speaks English, German and French.
