Miroslav Hadžić

Miroslav Hadžić was the president of the Board of Directors of the Belgrade Center for Security Policy (BCBP) for many years and is one of the founders of the organization.
He graduated from the Air Force Academy in Zadar in 1966. He also graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade in 1973, where he obtained his master’s degree in 1979 and his doctorate in 1983.
In the period 1972-1973, he worked as a research associate at the Military Center for Andragogic, Psychological and Sociological Research in Belgrade. He spent most of his military career as a teacher at the JNA High School of Military Policy (1972-1992). From 1992 to 1994, he was a professor of Military Sociology at the Military Academy in Belgrade. At his own request, he left the Yugoslav Army in the rank of colonel in January 1994. He spent the next five years in the Department of Sociological Research of the Institute of Social Sciences from Belgrade.
Together with a group of associates, he founded the Center for Civil-Military Relations in 1997, which was renamed the Belgrade Center for Security Policy in 2010.
From 2002 to 2014, he worked as a professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, teaching subjects in the field of international security. He is the author of numerous books and articles.
