Rodoljub Šabić

Member of the Executive Board

Rodoljub Šabić is a lawyer with an LLM degree, having chosen to pursue a career as an attorney-at-law.

During a period of 14 years, from December 2004 to December 2018, he served as the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia.

For many years he was the managing partner of a Belgrade-based law firm, which had a number of lawyers and was active in several fields of law. He was the Head of Legal and General affairs at the GVSS Belgrade, the Head of the Cabinet of the Federal Secretary for Justice and Public Administration, as well as Deputy Secretary at the Federal Secretariat for Legislation of the SFRY. He has served as a Member of Parliament and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and also as the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government in two Serbian Governments. He is the author of numerous texts published in academic and expert publications and in the daily press.

He has been a member of Executive Board of Belgrade Centre for Security Policy since February 2019.
