Security and defence issues as seen from Finland
Finland's Ambassador in the BCSP
Ambassador of Finland to Serbia, Kari Veijalainen, has presented the “Security and Defence Issues (as) seen from Finland” in the Centre for Civil-Military Relations on Friday, June 13. Centre’s guest has spoken on the policy led by this Scandinavian country to its neighbours, its foreign and security policy in general, and relationship towards EU and NATO respectively.
Veijalainen had said how „Finland can not be seen as a neutral country, as it is often said, but a military none aligned. That is the main difference between Finland on one side, and Austria and Sweden on the other“.
