Although close to 15% of the Budget of the Republic of Serbia is spent on security, this is not enough because there is no systematic investment, it was pointed out during the meeting between Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) and the Members of Parliament held on November 23, 2016 in Belgrade.

Before the special Law on Private Security was adopted in November 2013, the private security industry had been operating in a legal vacuum for 20 years. The analysis of the implementation of this Law was conducted by the BCSP Executive Director Predrag Petrovic.

The first meeting of the working group of the National Convention on the EU with the new Assembly Defense and Internal Affairs Committee and the European Integration Committee was held on November 15th 2016, at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia

EU integration process and the perspective of Albanian - Serbian Relations was the overall topic of the 7th Security Research Forum ‘Belgrade-Prishtina-Tirana’ held in Tirana on 13 November 2014.

Monitoring and measuring progress in implementation UNSCR 1325 in Serbia was the subject of presentation held by BCSP researcher Maja Bjelos at the international conference „Enhancing the Women, Peace and Security Agenda in the Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian Region" held in Almaty, Kazakhstan on 11. and 12. November 2013.

Collection of Essays "Business and Security" comprises papers submitted to the conference of the same name, organized by the Centre on November 6 and 7, 2008 in the National Assembly. The organization of the conference was made possible with the support of the Governments of Norway and Hungary, as well as Jagello 2000 foundation from the Czech Republic.
