Thirteenth generation of the BCSP interns

The 13th generation of interns started with internship at the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy. Great interest in BCSP`s educational program resulted with more than 130 applications and out of strong competition " magnificent five" were selected.

During the introductory seminar new generation of interns met with members of BCBP team and got informed about the organization`s activities and principles of work flow in an independent think tank.

Interns also attended lectures on the role of civil society in the security policy. They were introduced to the concept of security sector reform and heard lots of interesting things on the subject of personal data protection, confidentiality and access to information of public importance.

Seminars have inducted the new generation of interns in BCSP, and they are expected to put effort and creativity in work, in order to contribute to the success of the organization. At the same time, interns will have chance to further familiarize with the way how security sector in Serbia and the Western Balkans are functioning.

    The Civil Committee for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders and Whistleblowers calls on the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office to immediately act upon information about an alleged plot to assassinate student Pavle Cicvarić, as publicly stated on Informer television by Siniša Vučinić, a member of the Main Board of the Serbian Progressive Party.
