BCBP PROJECTS
IPAP in Vernacular
Better information on Serbia's co-operation with NATO and the advancement of the debate on this co-operation is the goal of the project implemented by Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) in 2017.
The Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) is the closest form of co-operation with NATO for countries that did not opt for membership. The IPAP of Serbia and NATO began to be implemented in January 2015. However, even two years later, the citizens did not know enough about what IPAP means for Serbia.
Through this project, BCSP informed the public about various aspects of Serbia’s cooperation with NATO through IPAP in order to contribute to a better quality debate about our country’s relations with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
For this reason, three backgrounders were published:
- What is the Individual Partnership Action Plan between Serbia and NATO?
- What does the IPAP mean for Serbia’s participation in multinational operations?
- What does the cooperation between Serbia and NATO mean for Serbia’s defence industry?
The project is funded by the UK Embassy in Belgrade from the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund. The BCSP is solely responsible for the project’s content.
