Centre for Civil-Military Relations wishes to inform civil society organizations, members of the academic community and public in general that the initiative to extend the deadline for public discussion on the draft National Security Strategy and Strategy of Defense has been accepted by Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac. Public debate will now be closed at January 31, 2009.

In the response of the Ministry, signed by the Director of the Strategic Planning Department within the Serbian MoD, Brigadier General Mitar Kovac, gratitude is expressed towards representatives of civil society for all the suggestions made, as well as for the active participation in the round table dedicated to above mentioned documents.
