BCSP researcher Zorana Brozovic will give a presentation in Krusevac military barracks “Car Lazar” on May 11th with the aim to inform trainees about the role of civil society in security sector and the possibilities of cooperation.

The lecture will cover the following areas:

1. General information about the BCBP

2. The NGO sector in Serbia (non-governmental organizations, local, foreign, international)

3. The influence of NGOs on security

4. The vision of the Serbian Army as an institution by the NGO sector and examples of cooperation

Serbian Army Department for Civil-Military Cooperation is implementing training “Basic Staff Course in the field of civil-military cooperation” during the month of May.

Civil society organizations and government bodies will present facts about their activities and way of functioning to trainees at the course in order to provide them with basic knowledge about the possibilities for improvement of mutual cooperation.
