The project explores the connection between transitional justice, reconciliation, and extremism in Serbia, with a special focus on gender perspectives. Through a one-day workshop, participants will gain a deeper understanding of transitional justice, gender equality, and their role in preventing radicalization and violent extremism. The program includes interactive sessions, presentations on key topics, and the presentation of a research paper on the link between transitional justice and extremism.
In addition to the workshop, the project includes writing a blog post for the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) website. Participants will have the opportunity to share their insights, key takeaways, and recommendations for combating extremism through transitional justice. The blog posts will help disseminate the workshop’s outcomes and encourage broader discussions on reconciliation, gender equality, and the prevention of radicalization, inspiring further research and engagement.
