Aurelija Djan

Aurelija Djan graduated in psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad and received a master’s degree in gender studies from the Central European University in Budapest.
She has been part of the BCBP research team since September 2012 as a XII generation intern, then as a fellow of the Open Society Fund Tink Tank Program for the Development of Young Researchers and later as a researcher until November 2016 when she moved to the international organization SPARK. She focused her research interest on gender and security sector reform, with a special focus on the introduction of a gender perspective in police work. In addition, Aurelia was hired as the coordinator of the BCBP internship program.
