Kristina Đurić
Associate Fellow
Kristina Đurić is an Associate Fellow at the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy. Kristina is also engaged as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Disarmament and Mine Action Department at Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) in Oslo. Kristina’s work focuses mainly on Ethnonational Conflicts, Policy, Gender and Diversity and spans across the South-East Europe, Middle East, and Central Asia. Kristina’s experience ranges from security, democratisation, and good governance, to disarmament, humanitarian response and protection.
Kristina holds an M.A. in International Relations/Political Science from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies Geneva (IHEID) with a Master Thesis – Violence and State Secession: The case of Kosovo, under Professor David Sylvan, Professor Ravi Bhavnani, with an external consultation with Professor Miroslav Hadžić. Kristina also holds a double major B.A. from Grinnell College, USA in Political Science under professor Gemma Sala and in History Professor J Pablo Silva with a Mentored Advanced Project – International Recognition of New States: Israel and Kosovo under Professor Wayne Moyer.
Kristina speaks Serbian, English, Norwegian and French.
