Lazar Čovs

Lazar Čovs works as a journalist, trainer and digital forensic scientist.

He studied journalism at universities in Novi Sad, Timisoara, and journalism at the weekly Vreme, CINS, VOICE, Autonomija and other media.

He currently works as an assistant editor at the fact-checking portal Fake News Tragač. He has been active for longer than that; for more than a decade in the Goran Movement, in SEEYN – the youth network of Southeast Europe, then in FEJS – the Forum of Journalism Students of Europe, the Youth Initiative for Human Rights, the Vojvodina Civic Center and others. He is currently a trainer of digital forensics and other topics related to fact-checking and media literacy at the Novi Sad School of Journalism.
