Miloš Popović

Miloš Popović graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, and completed his master’s and doctoral studies at the Central European University in Budapest. He was part of the BCBP research team from November 2016 to April 2017, as a fellow of the Think Tank Program for the Development of Young Researchers of the Open Society Fund. He was also hired as a consultant for Columbia University in New York on the Minerva project on the US-China rivalry in the field of cultural influence. Before BCBP, he worked as a guest lecturer at the Department of International Relations of the Central European University where he taught a course on qualitative methods for master’s students. He is the author of several scientific works in the field of civil wars, rebel groups, military interventions and terrorism, and together with a group of authors he is working on a book about military interventions by permanent members of the UN Security Council.
