Sofija Mandić

Sofija Mandić was a BCBP researcher-lawyer from March 2016 to January 2018. She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade, and is currently studying for a master’s degree in law at the University of Novi Sad. She acquired knowledge in the field of law in the office of the Commissioner for Protection of Equality, as well as in various law offices and centers. She trained professionally at the National Democratic Institute for International Relations, and was also a member of the research team of the Heinrich Bell Foundation in Serbia on the topic of intra-party democracy. She participated in the development of the Practical Manual on the introduction of equal opportunity policies in the legal documents of the National Councils of National Minorities at the OSCE in Serbia, but also assisted in the evaluation of the effects of local projects at the international organization UN Women. She has been a columnist for the Peščanik portal for many years.
