The chapter analyses the emergence and development of discriminatory narratives against the LGBTQ+ community in Serbia, and how cyberspace has provided them fertile ground, affecting the rights of LGBTQ+ people both online and offline. Using the example of EuroPride, which took place in Belgrade in 2022, it is demonstrated how digital spaces are being used as mobilizing tools by various anti-rights movements in Serbia.

BCSP Researcher Maja Bjelos is co-author of the independent report on achievements in the implementation of UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security in Serbia in 2014. Analysis of the results was based on 11 indicators, with a focus on the assessment of women's participation, prevention and protection from violence and the promotion of gender perspective. The authors have offered specific recommendations to institutions, the United Nations and civil society organizations.

Serbia has made progress in terms of policies and institutions for the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, but still has to work on achieving the goals in the practice, conclusion was of the conference on the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) on UNSCR 1325 in Serbia.
