Repressive governments’ policies towards conservative Muslims lead to their extremisations, was the conclusion based on the report authored by Shpend Kursani from the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies(KCSS) , which was presented today in Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP).

During their work at the Kosovar Center for Security Studies, BCSP researchers Maja Bjelos and Bojan Elek have conducted more than 20 interviews, as a part of their field work on the integration of Serbian police officers from Northern Kosovo into the Kosovo police. Besides that, as guest researchers they also participated at several public events and media appearances.
