The drafting process and the content of the Action Plan for Chapter 24 were a topic for the first time in the discussion that gathered the President of the Negotiating Team and coordinators for all 10 policies within the chapter, more than 20 CSO and a great number of media representatives, at the session of the National Convention’s Working Group for Chapter 24.

Working group for Chapter 24 operates within the National Convent on the European Union in order to monitor the process of negotiations between Serbia and EU in the areas of freedom, security and justice. The group is consisted of representatives from civil society, the media and professional associations as well as individuals who are engaged in policies in these areas.

Serbia has made progress in terms of policies and institutions for the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, but still has to work on achieving the goals in the practice, conclusion was of the conference on the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) on UNSCR 1325 in Serbia. This event was organised by the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP), in cooperation with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women).

In Independent Report on the Implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) on UN SC Resolution 1325 in the Republic of Serbia BCSP wish to present the greatest achievements in the NAP implementation process, point out the challenges encountered in this process, and propose measures for overcoming these and improving NAP implementation.
