XIX generation of interns
More than 70 students of bachelor and master studies have applied for the XIX generation of BCSP interns and eight best become part of our research team.
The nineteenth generation of interns of the Belgrade Centre for Security policy (BCSP) will participate in the activities of an independent research centre for six months. This centre comprehensively deals with the security issue.
“They will have the opportunity to actively participate in ongoing BCSB projects that are dealing with different aspects of security, and also to write research papers on topics they are interested with. They will also participate in organising expert consultations and help with the implementation of activities related to integrity building in the defense sector, as well as researches relating to security and gender equality” said Aurelija Djan, BCSP researcher, coordinator of the internship program.
{image2} At the introductory seminars, interns learned how researching in think tank organizations differs from academic researching. They have gained the necessary knowledge in the field of public procurements expediency that will allow them to assist the project team in further research and in the development of interactive maps of public procurements in the security sector. Also, they worked in groups and conceived their own research and collected preliminary data, which were presented to the participants.
