Become a BCSP intern

The BCSP interns will spend up to three months in Belgrade to pursue their own research contribute to the work of BCSP, while also gaining hands-on experience in the region and skills in think-tank work.

The BCSP runs internship programs within 2 official sessions a year. There are biannual calls for applications, in January/February and July/August.

Closing date for applications is 10th of February, 2015.  All later applications will be considered in the second call during July/August 2015.  

The BCSP internships are highly competitive so please read the call for application carefully and apply for the position according to the listed requirements.

The BCBP is looking for qualified candidates who:

• have a Bachelor’s degree or higher;
• have research skills and readiness to carry out policy-oriented research;
• have demonstrated research interest relating to security studies, international relations or gender issues;
• have excellent knowledge of English language.

In order to apply for an internship at BCSP, please send:

1. A current resume or CV;

2. A personal statement which should a) frame your motivation for applying for the BCSP internship and b) outline the work you propose to conduct during the internship. This statement should be not more than 1000 words;

3. A copy of a recent publication or an example of relevant work.  For a written document, for instance, it should be on the order of a paper or chapter – not an entire book or dissertation – and should be in English, French or German.
