Consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war: continuous war or terrifying peace

BCSP invites you to the discussion on the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war where the voices from Ukraine, Russia and Europe will be heard. The event will take place on Friday, May 13, from 3pm (CET) at Dom sindikata Press Centre (Dečanska 14, Belgrade) and online on Zoom.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has upset not just the relationship between the two Eastern European nations but also the entire European and world security order. While the war has yet to receive its epilogue, it is evident that its strategic ramifications will be felt in years, potentially decades ahead of us.

How do analysts on both sides of the border see the results of the war so far? Do they expect further escalation or calming of the conflict? What lessons have Ukraine, Russia and Europe learned? Can these lessons be used in the future by policymakers to draw out a new security order for Europe?

The Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) is organizing a panel where voices from Ukraine, Russia and Europe will be heard.
