Partnership for Integrity in Security Sector in Serbia – Conference call
Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) invites You to the conference entitled "Partnership for Integrity in Security Sector in Serbia" which will be held on September 17 at hotel Zira.
Ambassador Michael D. Kirby will open the conference on Partnership for Integrity in the Security Sector in Serbia on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 9 a.m. at Hotel Zira.
BCSP is organizing the conference as part of a project to improve external oversight of the security sector in Serbia by strengthening integrity and anti-corruption efforts in key security institutions, such as the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, and the Security Information Agency.
The event is organized with the support of USAIDthrough the Civil Society Forward Program and managed by the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC).
The main topics of discussion will include the costs Serbian citizens bear from corruption in security institutions and how integrity in the security sector increases institutional efficiency and improves the protection of citizens rights.
