Police integrity in Serbia – presentation of research findings
The aim of the event is to encourage discussion on challenges and priorities of building police integrity in Serbia, with special reference to novelties and systemic shortcomings of the long awaited new Law on Police.
Regional network of civil society organizations POITPULSE and Belgrade Centre for Security Policy invite you to the presentation of results of research „Police integrity in Serbia“, which will take place in Media Centre, on 26th November at 11 AM.
Following issues shall be discussed:
- What is the biggest threat to police integrity?
- Who is controlling the work of police and how?
- How are human resources being managed within police?
- Is it possible to decrease political influence on police work?
- Which are the good and which are the bad facets of Draft of the Law on police?
Research findings shall be presented by:
- Sasa Djordjevic, Researcher at Belgrade Centre for Security Policy
- Bojan Elek, Researcher at Belgrade Centre for Security Policy
- Dunja Tasic, Researcher at Belgrade Centre for Security Policy
Working language of the event shall be Serbian. Simultaneous translation into English is provided.
