Pointing to the trends of misuse and collapse of institutions for the purpose of strengthening uncontrolled political power is the goal of the panel that Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) organizes on Friday, June 29, 2018, at 11 am, in the Human Rights House (Kneza Milosa 4, Belgrade).
The participants will analyze the current situation in the security sector, the judiciary, independent state bodies and the media, point to the negative consequences of state capture in these areas, and make recommendations to stop this process.
Speakers:
- Miroslav Hadzic, President of the Executive Board of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy;
- Rodoljub Sabic, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection;
- Dragana Boljevic, President of the Judges’ Association of Serbia and Judge of the Belgrade Court of Appeal;
- Tamara Skrozza, journalist.
Moderator: Svetlana Lukic, editor-in-chief of Pescanik.
The conference will be simultaneously translated into English.
