The main project activity will be the organisation of the Citizens’ Assembly focused on the fight against serious crime.
The aim of this project is to shed light to digital surveillance infrastructure in Serbia which will enable digital democracy community to make evidenced based policy recommendations, as well as increase the knowledge and awareness among citizens about dangers that unrestricted digital surveillance poses to human rights and democracy.
The main goal of this project is for the BCSP to defend civic space amidst the war in Ukraine by providing refuge and continuing the work of civil society experts from Ukraine and Russia. This project would help foster a permanent research program dedicated to analysing foreign and security policy trends in Russia and the post-Soviet states, and their impact on Western Balkan countries.
The idea of this project is to bring closer students of social and political sciences from Serbia and Kosovo through transformative education for peace and simulation of negotiations on the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
The overall goal of this project is to create a framework for the transformation of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy into a regional foreign policy think tank, through the expansion and strengthening of the already existing partnership network with related organizations and individuals from the entire region. The establishment of the regional centre for monitoring and informing the public about the alignment of the Western Balkans countries with the EU’s foreign and security policy is a priority of this project.
The Western Balkans Security Barometer (WBSB) is a new regional initiative launched by KCSS in 2020. It follows the Kosovo Security Barometer implemented in Kosovo for eight consecutive years.
The overall goal of this project is to contribute to creating legal and political preconditions for de-capturing the state.
