Gorana Pebić
Project Manager
Gorana Pebić joined the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy in 2021 as an intern. After completing her internship, she became a Junior Researcher in September 2022, was promoted to Researcher in January 2024, and since June 2025 has been working as a Project Manager, while also coordinating the BCSP internship programme for nearly three years.
She is a political scientist and researcher currently pursuing a master’s degree in Culture and Media Management at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. Her research focuses on regional security, violent extremism, gender equality, and LGBT+ issues. She addresses common problems and supports the process of reconciliation by promoting understanding and collaboration among communities through research, workshops, open discussions, and dialogue-based activities. Additionally, Gorana coordinates the Belgrade Security Conference Young Leaders program, which unites young people from all across the Western Balkans to promote youth voices in security policy discussions and improve regional cooperation.
