Invitation to the presentation of the fourth Collection of Policy Papers on Police Reform in Serbia

The Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (www.ccmr-bg.org) and the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights (www.bgcentar.org.rs) would like to invite you to the presentation of the fourth Collection of Policy Papers on Police Reform in Serbia, which will take place on Thursday, 31 March, at 11h in the Media Centre, Terazije 3 (second floor).

The bi-lingual publication in Serbian and English will be published both in print and electronically as a result of analysis of three researchers from the above CSOs, within the project “Fostering Civil Society Involvement in Police Reform”. It contains assessment of the current state and both general and concrete recommendations for advancement of police work on the following topics: Increasing the Number of Women in the Police; Prevention of Stress among Police Officers in Serbia; How Can the Creation of a National Mechanism for Torture Prevention Contribute to Lawfulness of Police Work.   

The project “Fostering Civil Society Involvement in Police Reform“ is supported by the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).
