Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) is organizing a conference: “Public Perception of Serbia's National Security and Dialogue with Pristina”, to present latest survey results.
The event will be held in the Media Center (Terazije 3, Belgrade) on Tuesday, 14 February 2017, starting at 10 am.
The presentation, among other things, will analyze citizens' views on the following issues:
– To what extent is the national security of Serbia under threat?
– What are the major external and internal threats to Serbia?
– Does Serbia have more friends or foes in the neighborhood?
– Who does benefit most from the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina?
– What type of agreement is acceptable in the dialogue?
The following authors will deliver the presentation:
- Sonja Stojanovic Gajic, BCSP Director
- Milos Popovic, BCSP Researcher
The working language of the conference is Serbian, and simultaneous translation into English will be provided.
The survey was conducted in January on a representative sample of 1,403 inhabitants of Serbia, excluding Kosovo. This event features the first part of the research, while another presentation on the foreign policy of Serbia and trust in institutions will be delivered at the beginning of March.
The conference is a part of the project entitled “Renewed and revised co-operation between the BCSP, regional partners and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs”, funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
