Regional network of civil society organizations POINTPULSEand the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP)invite you to the presentation of results from the third annual public opinion survey “The Citizen’s Opinion of the Police Force”, which will take place on Thursday, 14 September, at the Media Centre Belgrade, starting at 11:00.

The perceptions of citizens in Serbia will be presented and compared to the perceptions in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Kosovo. Presentations on the same topic will be simultaneously organized in capitals across the Western Balkans.

Answers to the following issues will be discussed:

1.       How much do the citizens trust the police?

2.       How do citizens perceive police, but also policewomen and policemen?

3.       How much corruption there is within the police and how to fight it?

4.       How can civil society organizations help with the improvement of police integrity?

Working language of the presentation is Serbian with simultaneous English translation provided.

Presentations on the same topic will be simultaneously organized in Tirana, Sarajevo, Skopje, Podgorica, and Pristina, where the results will be presented by project partners: Analytica, Center for Security Studies, Institute Alternative, Institute for Democracy and Mediation, and Kosovar Center for Security Studies.
