BCSP team has been expanded by the energy and the knowledge of eight new interns.

The 13th generation of interns started with internship at the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy. Great interest in BCSP`s educational program resulted with more than 130 applications and out of strong competition " magnificent five" were selected.

Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) is ranked among the top 20 in Central and Eastern Europe. With only three organizations in this part of Europe, BCBP is included among top 70 Think Tanks in the world who deal with areas of security and foreign policy.

Twelfth generation of BCSP interns took part in the organization of two major conferences, participated in field research and made several appearances in media. Interns developed their skills in different workshops and seminars, published a great variety of articles in specialized bulletins and helped with the everyday activities in BCSP.

In the year of 2012 BCSP celebrated its 15th anniversary and continued with the development of innovative research, educational materials and programmes, as well as the new communication and advocacy tools and tactics.

During the last couple of decades, civil society organisations have became actors in the security sector. Good governance of the security sector is not only effective exercise of the economic, political and administrative competences of government, but also requires the involvement of non-statutory actors in the control and oversight of state institutions.

Belgrade Centre for Security Policy provides young people with the opportunity to gain direct research related experience through participation in the various activities of the security think tank.
