Possibilities for academic community to assist participating OSCE States in defining new directions for the Organization in the so-called Helsinki+ 40 process was the topics of a panel discussion organized by the OSCE Network of Think Tanks and Academic Institutions.

The lecture in BCSP library gathered representatives from Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Security Information Agency, OSCE Mission to Serbia, political parties and civil society.

The capacity of Serbia to participate in the Western Balkans Battle Group were the subject of presentation of the BCSP researcher Marko Milosevic at the round table "Visegrad Four Experience from the Security Sector Reform: Security and Defence Cooperation of the Western Balkan countries" held on 28. October in hotel Bosnia in Sarajevo.

The influence of military on Turkish politics and society was the subject of a lecture for researchers and interns of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy held by Esra Dogan, BCSP guest researcher.

The majority of citizens in Serbia and Albania support the continuation of the Brussels dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina even if it is not a condition for EU membership, while the most of population of Kosovo and Metohija favors the Dialogue only if it will increase the chances of EU membership. This paper aims to assist all stakeholders to the Brussels Agreement to work effectively toward a positive outcome in northern Kosovo, but also to prepare for contingencies.

During the negotiations with the EU, Serbia will have to make very important decisions that will significantly affect its future and the lives of citizens. Therefore, the participation of civil society is necessary, not only to monitor the process, but to be consulted too – these were conclusions at the conference organized by the coalition "prEUgovor" (in English "preEUnup").
